Sonoff Zigbee Temperature & Humidity Sensor

The SONOFF SNZB-02P is a compact Zigbee temperature and humidity sensor designed for installers who need a simple, reliable way to monitor indoor climate conditions. It is well suited to bedrooms, living areas, offices, apartments, rental properties, equipment cupboards, storage rooms, greenhouses, reptile enclosures and other indoor spaces where temperature or humidity changes may affect comfort, equipment or stored items.

Using Zigbee 3.0, the SNZB-02P connects to compatible Zigbee gateways and smart home platforms, allowing temperature and humidity readings to be used in automations, scenes and alerts. It can be integrated with SONOFF Zigbee gateways such as iHost, NSPanel Pro, ZB Bridge Pro and ZBDongle-E, as well as supported third-party Zigbee 3.0 hubs and platforms. SONOFF lists compatibility with third-party hubs such as Echo 4th Gen and SmartThings Hub V3. 

For trade customers, the SNZB-02P is a useful add-on for smart home and light commercial projects where customers want better visibility of room conditions. It can trigger automations such as turning on an exhaust fan when humidity rises, activating heating when a room becomes too cold, starting ventilation when conditions move outside a set range, or sending phone alerts when temperature or humidity exceeds customer-defined limits.

SONOFF specifies the SNZB-02P with a Swiss-made sensor, ±0.2°C temperature accuracy, ±2% RH humidity accuracy and a 5-second data refresh when values change, providing timely readings for comfort-based automations. It also supports historical data storage and export, with SONOFF listing up to 6 months of cloud-based historical data for reviewing temperature and humidity trends. 

The sensor is powered by a CR2477 battery and is rated by SONOFF for up to 4 years of battery life under typical/lab-tested conditions. Its compact 45 × 45 × 17.7mm design and wireless installation make it easy to position using suitable mounting methods without running new wiring.
