Sonoff Zigbee Smart Relay Switch (No-Neutral)

The SONOFF ZBMINIL2 is a compact no-neutral Zigbee smart switch designed for installers who need a retrofit-friendly way to add smart control to existing lighting circuits. It is especially useful in older homes, apartments and renovation projects where a neutral wire may not be present at the wall switch, helping reduce the need for additional cabling when the installation conditions are suitable.

Built on Zigbee 3.0, the ZBMINIL2 connects to a compatible Zigbee gateway or smart home platform for app control, schedules, countdown timers, loop timers, smart scenes and voice control through supported ecosystems. SONOFF describes the ZBMINIL2 as a no-neutral Zigbee smart switch designed for EU/86/120 type mounting boxes, with support for external rocker switches and push buttons. 

For trade customers, the ZBMINIL2 is a strong option for smart lighting upgrades where compact size and no-neutral wiring are important. Its small 39.5 × 32 × 18.4mm body helps it fit into tighter switch boxes where many standard modules may be difficult to install. It also supports low-wattage lighting loads from 3W and does not require an anti-flicker module in suitable installations. 

The ZBMINIL2 can be used with compatible Zigbee platforms including SONOFF Zigbee gateways, Amazon Echo devices with built-in Zigbee hub support, and supported open platforms such as Home Assistant through ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT. It is important to note that the ZBMINIL2 is a Zigbee end device, not a Zigbee router/repeater, so it does not extend the Zigbee mesh network. 

For installers, the ZBMINIL2 is best suited to simple on/off lighting control rather than dimming or fan control. Published specifications list 100–240V AC input/output and up to 6A maximum load, and reseller technical notes state it is not intended for dimmable LED bulbs or inductive loads such as fans.
