Sonoff Matter over WiFi Dry Contact Relay Switch

The SONOFF MINI-D is a compact dry contact relay module designed for installers who need to add smart control to devices that are triggered by a voltage-free contact. Unlike a standard smart switch that directly powers a connected load, the MINI-D provides an isolated dry contact output, making it suitable for control circuits such as garage door openers, gate inputs, boilers, access control panels, contactors, low-power DC motors and solenoid valves. SONOFF lists the MINI-D as a Matter-enabled Wi-Fi dry contact smart switch with NO/NC output options and support for both AC and DC power input. 

For trade customers, the MINI-D is useful where a customer wants app, voice or automation control over an existing system without changing the way the equipment itself is powered. It can be powered from 100–240V AC or 12–48V DC, giving installers flexibility across residential, commercial and custom control environments. The dry contact output supports Normally Open and Normally Closed configurations, allowing the module to be adapted to a wide range of control inputs. 

As a Matter over Wi-Fi device, the MINI-D can integrate with Matter-compatible platforms including Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Home Assistant, depending on the customer’s ecosystem and controller setup. This makes it a strong option for installers who want a more future-ready product that can work across multiple smart home platforms rather than being limited to a single app ecosystem. 

The MINI-D is especially useful for smart garage door control, thermostat or boiler automation, contactor-based switching of larger loads, and low-power DC control applications. SONOFF rates the output at 24V DC 2A maximum resistive load, or 12/24V DC 8W motor load, and notes that AC loads should not be connected to the output terminal.
